This was a picture of me with one of my show goats, Sully. I had 4 goats throughout my high school career; with one goat each year. All of their names started with an S, like my name, and a cartoon character. So Sully being the blue monster on Monsters Inc. Showing goats taught me a lot about showmanship and about the animal. Them being a prey animal makes them skiddish towards everything. We get the goats as a kid so they are very shy. The longer the goat is in your care, the more trustworthy they are towards you. Showing a goat is very fun but it takes a lot of work because how they are showed. But in the end it was all worth it and them being sold is what helped me pay for college.
